It would have probably been your wildest dreams to be told in primary school that some students building physical models of race cars would be coming to your primary school. Suddenly a whole new world would open, the games and races wouldn't just stop at hot wheels but now you could potentially build your own miniature car, perhaps an even better one than hotwheels!

We decided to increase our presence in the local community, and to continue to spread our ambition by offering to sell christmas ornaments at Dundonald Primary school. Inspiring young children, especially inspiring young girls, where the sky was the limit was our passion with this outreach event. It was a priviledge to encourage them and bring our motto of breaking barriers to the forefront of the next generation of trailblasers.
We manufactured these ornaments in house, by using the Gravit Software to make the template that we later cut out onto used MDF boards and acrylic from the DT Department- ensuring sustainability with the used buttons as wheels was a paramount aspect of our brand identity we felt was extremely important to push in this event as well.
As a team, we took a lot away from this outreach event, only an access to increased sponsorship opportunities and a wider network with some of the parents interested in our product and our competition journey, but also the ability to inspire younger children about F1 and share our stories about what racing meant to us.
